There's a certain breed of actors who has been always experimenting irrespective of the social landscape for the mediums of entertainment.

I understand the repercussions my actions might have.

Often, we seek validation by way of the number of social media followers we have, or by bagging a big-budget Bollywood movie. But the world is bigger than that.

It is a very narrow minded approach to only think about leaving one industry for another.

Cinema is as credible as TV, as credible a projector, as credible as a streaming platform or for that matter even a stage, and some performance on the road. It's just a way of telling a story.

Every job I've done so far, every character has been completely different, and that's really important to me because I don't want to fall into a stereotypical box. Of course, every actor has their box, and you have to respect and play for it, but I do love challenging myself.

People should be shrouded in mystery. Especially actors. No, hang on, maybe actors should be blown up.

Being a good actor isn't easy. Being a man is even harder. I want to be both before I'm done.

Some actors learn the habit of promoting themselves as a brand - by dressing in a certain way, by going out with a certain person - it gives them what they obviously want, which is to keep a level of fame. I'm not putting it down.
