My high school coach is an African American studies teacher, so I respect his perspective as an older white guy who has a master's in African American studies.
At the end of the day, when the playoffs come and we do what we're supposed to do, we'll get all the fame and glory that we can handle.

I've got friends whose parents work three jobs. They don't know where their next meal is going to come from. When you've got a bunch of people living in poverty like that, bad things happen.
