I do not have the slightest bit of confidence in the European Union to protect the borders of the European Union.

Past leaders chose deregulated globalization. They said it would be happy; it turned out to be atrocious.

The political groups who have taken the responsibility to elect Mr. Macron have been discredited.

The European Union has become a prison of peoples. Each of the 28 countries that constitute it has slowly lost its democratic prerogatives to commissions and councils with no popular mandate. Every nation in the union has had to apply laws it did not want for itself.

What is the point in punishing a country?

We tend to default to complacency. Stick to the easy option. We all do it. We've tried to create a business model and society around us that is as easy and boxed as possible. We love creating boundaries and borders.

Quite simply, without UKIP, there would not have been a referendum. I am convinced that the 'we want our country back, we want our borders back' message that we took across the country on an open-top double decker energised non-voters to back Brexit.

If I start playing by the rules, I will inhibit myself of the possibilities that lie beyond. I don't like to be framed or given borders to operate in or curtail my thought process and as a writer it's not only my choice but also my need to go beyond the given framework.

We never want to expand our borders... but I can say that our security forces and defence forces possess all the might to protect our borders.
