The differences that separate human beings are nothing compared to the similarities that bond us together.
I do agree that Justin has integrity, honesty and amazing judgment, but sometimes I think he's just maybe too sensitive, and that's kind of scary.
We tell girls to be themselves, but then they have role models - sometimes too many role models - in popular culture who incarnate that kind of disconnectedness from oneself. We are taught to self-hate; we are taught to doubt. Our culture doesn't help us recognize ourselves as amazing beings without changing ourselves.
Caring is beyond race. Either people care about you, or they don't.
With all the people hating and hurting each other, I don't understand how people could get upset about people of the same sex caring for each other.
The men and women of today's VA are dedicated to caring for today's veterans and stand ready to provide for our servicemembers who now defend our freedoms and our way of life.
We start caring way too much about that new TV show or how many likes we're getting on Facebook or what our mother will think of our new house plant. These are bad values that turn us into frivolous people.
In a way, I had a very good and normal childhood. I had loving and caring parents. But I had a lot of quirks or problems when I was growing up. I had phobias and obsessions.
