Once you move into the second week of a Grand Slam, you know you are getting closer to playing on some of the world's biggest courts.

I'm not aware of a cadence when writing, but I hear it after. I write in longhand, and that helps. You're closer to it, and you have to cross things out. You put a line through it, but it's still there. You might need it. When you erase a line on a computer, it's gone forever.

To be quite honest, I find that it's easier to do parts that are wrapped up in different hair and wardrobe and eras, and different period behavior, than it is to play closer to the present.

Every day, I get closer to God. Every day, my will to do the right thing gets stronger.

The closer you can get to being personal, the better the work is, or the more interesting the work is.
