I feel like I need to continuously keep evolving and moving.
I never expected to make a lot of money from music.
I think at first the Flume project really started out as an online thing. I used Facebook and SoundCloud, and I think we got lucky because it felt like a bit of a golden age of those social media platforms. So I managed to create quite a solid fan base online.
I'm a huge fan of Flying Lotus. I like The XX's stuff.
If I leave my computer, I'm probably not going to get back for hours. If I take a few minutes to answer questions and go web surfing, then guilt kicks in and I get back to work.
You can't put rubbish into a computer and get something good out.
At the risk of being a fuddy-duddy I don't have a computer; I don't have e-mail; and I really don't need something in my house that I would be sitting in front of for hours.
I think that some people will never buy a computer because I think now we're at the point where the iPad does what some people want to do with their PCs.
The computer is very good for me; I can magnify my work very easily.
