It's always been my hope that I would write a story that would inspire and would connect with people in a way that would touch hearts.

Empathy is the most mysterious transaction that the human soul can have, and it's accessible to all of us, but we have to give ourselves the opportunity to identify, to plunge ourselves in a story where we see the world from the bottom up or through another's eyes or heart.

I have a fondness for historical fiction, something wondrous like 'Wolf Hall,' but I'll read most anything as long as the story grabs my mind or my heart, and preferably both. You would be hard pressed, however, to find science fiction on my shelves.

Look, I know you meant well creating the world and all, but how could you let it get away from you like this? How come you couldn't stick with your original idea of paradise? People's lives were a mess.

I love monsters the way people worship holy images. To me, they really connect in a very fundamental way to my identity.

I am sure it will connect with the masses. 'Good Morning Sunshine' has beautiful script, great actors and a very sensitive director, Sanjoy Nag.

Twitter helps me connect to the people who help make my music, or the cycle of an album, complete. Without them experiencing the music, it doesn't really exist, so it doesn't make sense to not involve them.
