I think we need to be humane to all living beings and that includes our animals.
We can attract new businesses and jobs in fast-growing industries through tax incentives, incubators, zoning tools and CUNY partnerships.
As a former police officer, I have long advocated that it is not only the job of the NYPD to make our communities safe. I have also stated that it is not solely the role of ACS to fight child abuse. The community at large must do their share in with these important initiatives.
Covid has been a strain on all of us in some form or fashion.
America tolerates a heavy toll from the flu on health and productivity. But if Covid becomes a twin risk, the heath-care system will struggle to fight both at once.
My stand-up shows have always been fairly scripted, but since Covid began they have become much more interactive, which yields some wonderful, spontaneous moments, but also makes for an incredibly restless experience in my head.
It's always important to be talkative about things you are an expert in. For example, I'm not a doctor, I don't understand viruses, so I don't speak about COVID.
I want to empower people. I want people to know that they can take their health in their own hands.
People want to go out and eat, theres no question about that. Its not something thats just going to go because of Covid. Its heartening the way people have come back to restaurants.
