There are so many great things about this country, but certain things we can't take over and over and over again.
I'm going to have a great career when I'm done. But when people talk about me, I want them to say, 'Yo, not only was Shady McCoy really good, but he was a solid person in the locker room. He helped us out.'
Certain guys are different. A guy like Marshawn Lynch, he's more of a running through a guy. Mine is to get a guy off balance and going through an arm tackle, go through a shoulder, those types of things. Get them going one way and try to hit the other side.
For the most part, teams don't want distractions.
I can handle a lot of work. I've always been able to. I'm a very focused individual. I come to my studio at about 7:30 in the morning and exit almost 5:00 P.M. In that time, those eight or nine hours, it's kind of laser focus on whatever I'm working on. There aren't really any distractions or anything.
Let's face it: Most teams don't like distractions.
It is easy to be inspired by history when you're living in a part of it and allow that to seep into your writing: having said that, a minimalist room with no distractions is often better; the most exciting visions should already be in your head.
Philly fans are more emotional, but the Buffalo fans are a bigger crowd I think.
I can lock myself for months in the editing suite with no noise or distractions. It's fascinating to see the film taking shape.
