When we fail to include diverse, talented faces, reflecting both today and tomorrow's America, we send a poor message to our youth and the world.

The NCAA is acting like they can or are willing to self-police. It doesn't appear that they are willing to do it to the degree that they should.

I'm a realist.

I have recently taken on two major challenges: running the CHC BOLD PAC and serving Los Angeles as our voice on the Energy and Commerce Committee.

BOLD PAC is Hispanic first, Democratic second. And it's a close, close second because we do not engage in endorsing non-Democrats.

You get into these executive offices, and people say, 'Oh, we have this project. Wait a minute, guys, we need diversity - let's choose a black actor for this; let's choose a Hispanic actor for this,' instead of saying, 'That's not diverse, that's just normal. That's what makes up America.'

Illinois is becoming more diverse, more tolerant, and even more green.

The strength of the platform that I am privileged to have is that I reach a massive group of diverse people.

I think Los Angeles is an incredible city. It's also very diverse, which I love about it.

Diverse forms of memory can have a variety of gaps. Thus it is possible for me to represent a past situation to myself and be unable to remember my inner behavior in this situation. As I transfer myself back into this situation, a surrogate for the missing memory comes into focus.
