I'd been lucky to do radio drama and RTE things. Having the opportunity to work with Netflix was wild to me but I'm still just a wee girl from Donegal.

I've grown not only as an actor but as a young woman. I find myself to be more confident and being more open about self-love. I'm still learning how to take up space and speak out when needed, but that's a new thing for me and I'm loving it.

Of course, I have my ways of getting into trouble. We all have times when we think, Oh my God, can the world please swallow me up and take me away from this?

I think that a lot of people will agree that Donegal is the countryside, it's trees and fields, but especially when you're a kid you can make so much out of that.

My acting has got to be natural. I didn't go to any drama schools. It's a gift from God.

I'd love to do a drama.

I started studying theater in school, and then I got into drama school at, like, 19, and it was a national drama school in Montreal, and so it was just you and nine other students for three years, and it was really intense.

I enjoy doing drama, and I enjoy doing comedy equally.

What's special with 'Corrie' is that they have the comedy element, women are funny as well - they might do the emotional stuff, they might do the drama, but they're really funny too.
