In high school I was an outcast... I wasn't cool to hang out with. I ate my lunch in a bathroom stall because that was the one place I could go where I wouldn't been seen.

Once, I had to clip a jacket back to take a picture, and after they were done I forgot to remove the clip until someone noticed.

When I was in high school, I wanted to be a counselor and I wanted to work with kids. I've been through the worst of high school. And I want to motivate people to live the best life that they can, because we're only here for one life.

Insulting people doesn't make you brave, bold, cool or courageous.

I first met my husband when I was 15. He was very cool, in a band, all that kind of thing, but he took a long time to grow up. Black and awkward is the worst, because black people are stereotyped as being anything but awkward in mainstream media... Black people are always portrayed to be cool or overly dramatic, anything but awkward.
