It's no secret that I'm a fan of hitting a lot of balls.
I think sport can play a really positive role in young girls' lives and be great to see as many of them playing sport as possible.

Our dad was a great guy and we will never forget him.
As a young boy growing up in New York City, we would spend our summers on the South Fork of Long Island. My dad would take me down to the beach at low tide. We would walk a mile down to the jetties, and he would lower me by my ankles into the crevices between the massive boulders to grab at huge ropes of mussels.
A working definition of fathering might be this: fathering is the act of guiding a child to behave in ways that lead to the child's becoming a secure child in full, thus increasing his or her chances of being happy and fruitful as a young adult.
