Money is something that keeps you alive and healthy and just keeps you focused. It's the drive. It's the passion.
Every time I go into the studio, it's some next level, man.
When you come to my show, it's like a no-holds-barred, underground Royal Rumble.
You grow up in a small community, there's no outlet like New York or L.A.
We design for a whole range of ages and body types, and we always have done. What's great about us is that the common thing that they all like is an accessible eccentricity of an accessible flamboyance, and I think the super thing about that, it isn't age-specific: you're not only dressing 25-year-olds; we're dressing women from 25 to 65+.
When I design and wonder what the point is, I think of someone having a bad time in their life. Maybe they are sad and they wake up and put on something I have made and it makes them feel just a bit better. So, in that sense, fashion is a little help in the life of a person. But only a little.
One of the biggest differences between you and a traditionally published author is that a self-pubbed author is responsible for everything. Not just writing the book - but cover design, editing, producing, distribution, and publicity as well.
I design for the inspiring, stylish women I meet every day. I try not to look around or be distracted by what other people are creating. I make jewelry that I want to keep for years to come and I really love what I do!
