Education is one of the industry categories with a big potential for AI. And Coursera is already doing some of this work.
The two things I'm most excited about are self-driving cars and speech. Speech doesn't sound like that much, but it's one of those technologies with the potential to change everything. Steve Jobs didn't invent the touch screen. He just made it work very well, and that's changed everything.
We think that many companies view Coursera as a quality, convenient, inexpensive way to continue employee development. Is there a contract with a company that might make sense? I don't have an answer to that yet.
I have talked about the 'fractal organization'. Those smaller pieces should innovate and lead the rest of the organization. There will be parts that will be thinking about technologies of the future, and you need to nourish them.
To innovate is not to reform.
I really want to be creative. I want to innovate. I want to be innovative, and I want to do things that are different.
If you don't tolerate any risk, you can never innovate.
Businesses are going to innovate in how they bring prices down so people can shop the way they want.
