Whenever a situation develops to its extreme, it is bound to turn around and become its opposite.

My advice to young film-makers is this: don't follow trends, start them!

I made mistakes in drama. I thought drama was when actors cried. But drama is when the audience cries.

Don't follow trends, start trends.

We should be proud that our Prophet came into the world with the message of Islam to change it for the better, and not for the worse, or to keep things as they are.

So when I speak in front of thousands, tens of thousands of people, I don't really get nervous because I know what I want to say and I know what message I want to give.

To see old faces, to give back to the kids and let them know I come from these same schools and streets, and they can make it out, too, that's my biggest message to them.

So for me, you can't control the media, you have to work with media to get your message out there and you just hope that there's enough good honest reporting and people in the media that can get that job done.
