You go and you see a piece of art; you're looking at it outside of you. When you listen to a song, the singer's voice is being put together in your own head. The effort that you as the listener has is part of the artwork in a sense.
We were ambitious. The several levels of Dante's inferno that we had to go through emotionally within the band to be able to stick to it, was crazy. That's ambition.
