I am proud of my kids, but I also want to make my mom proud of me. I'm still a momma's girl at the heart of the situation.

I love crafting and cooking, doing all of that.

My whole life story is kind of a backhanded compliment.

People are always saying that Hollywood messes up kids. I'm like, 'No, families mess up kids!' I grew up in Hollywood, and I'm perfectly fine. If my children want to go into the entertainment business, I won't stop them, as long as they're passionate about it.

There've been a few mother-daughter movies that are somewhat realistic. But the mother-son movies are more comical than realistic: 'Throw Momma from the Train,' 'Stop! or My Mom Will Shoot.' You don't sit in the dark and go, 'Oh my God, that's my mother.'

I'm always on my kids so hard about staying in school and getting their education and I ain't got a GED. I wanted to do that for my kids and for my momma.

Being the 8th out of 10 kids, and being the one that stayed in trouble, I sort of became a momma's boy.

I, for one, have a great momma.
