When I was small - I grew up in a village outside of Krakow - my brothers and sisters and I would play folk instruments and make music in our home.

Yes, I started piano and classical singing, I wanted to study jazz, but I tried to go to the Polish University of Jazz, but they didn't want me. In Krakow, I wanted to conduct, they didn't want me. And I start to think, 'I have to do something.' In Krakow there was drama and music. I started to study.

My grandmother would hide bread for when maybe another war would come. You had to be ready.

Of course we have the right to have expectations towards Europe - especially towards the Europe that left us to be the prey of the Russians in 1945 - but above all we have the right to rule ourselves here on our own and decide what form Poland should have.

Those who voted for me voted for change. Together we can change Poland.

I had come from Poland and the attention on you is much bigger when you get to the Premier League, so everything was doubled or tripled. Obviously, there were times when I struggled to deal with the criticism.
