Rapping is something I just do for fun.

Growing up, you see so many commercials and advertisements for Kay Jewelers, so we know their core foundation and what they're all about.

My mindset is to prepare as if I'm playing.

Nine times out of 10 there's going to be things that you want to happen - and it's not going to happen. And you've just got to stick to what you know, keep working. Because when the opportunity comes, you don't want to miss it.

That's all you really can do. Be prepared. When your number is called, try to execute, try to do your job as best as you can.

What I don't do is try to like become whoever I'm rapping with. The people who go get an LL album want to hear LL.

I've been rapping since I was, probably, 14.

I hadn't done much rapping in a while. I really wasn't sure I was going to do that any more. For a couple years I thought I was done with that. It wasn't really required of me.

When I'm rapping, I become very emotional, and people can feel it through my face.
