I am the Kanye West of food.
Every novice is like, Can I have the rock shrimp? Then I'm always like, Don't order rock shrimp with me. It's such a bad look on the table. It cheapens me. I'm embarrassed about it.
I want people to afford eating delicious, mushy, yummy burgers and not have to pay $17 for a meal.
I live that lifestyle. I want to be the Robin Leach for the new generation, telling them what the hottest places are and where to go.
Rock shrimp is so generic.
Kanye West is just brilliant.
I work with a bunch of producers on every album, but the difference for 'Evolver' was that I couldn't get any time with Kanye. I forget what he was doing at the time, but he was all over the place. We were never at the same city at the same time.
As an artist, you can't expect a producer to just bring you a record. If you walk in and say, 'I want Kanye West's 'Power,' it just doesn't work that way.
G.O.O.D. Music is just real tastemakers, man. Kanye's a real tastemaker. One thing that I feel is tight about G.O.O.D. is that a lot of people have their own style, and you can see that. My style is different than Pusha's, it's different than Cudi's. But it's also slightly similar 'cause we have some similar tastes.
Kanye is one of my favorite producers and artists.
